So this is what we look like when we rock climb! We spent some time at the Rock City Climbing Gym in Anaheim Hills today. This place had all kinds of climbing routes and a couple of caves with tunnels, drops, twists and turns!! We had sooooo much fun and unexpectedly built trust and had a great workout! It was a fun time together as a family as we hope the photos show...we highly recommend this for all ages and skill levels. Rock on!!

Scott rock climbed a lot when he was younger and always loved it...looks like it's something you never forget how to do!

Scott- Tanna you are an inspiration both with your family activities and your ability to share them with your friends. I love the pictures and the captions. I used to take the kids top rope climbing and repelling with friends. Jeremy and I did Aussie style (face down repeling) when he was about 10 and Rachel was nicknamed Pica after an alpine rodent because she was so fast up the face. One time we were repelling on a 75 foot face and Kristin (about 10 at the time)got her long hair caught in the carabiners about 50' off the ground she was repelling along side a friend and he held her up as another friend tied off real quick and dropped to her aid. High adventure. Thanks again for sharing. Kenn PS i just opened the card you sent sat and we missed your dinner invitation. sorry, maybe we can reschedule,.

What a blast! I remember Scott and Larry being the big rock climbers some a 30 years ago - none of that indoor stuff, though! :) Looking forward to getting together after your show!
So much fun. Thanks for sharing your pics. We love this place, although I can't believe you did the tunnel thing...Creeps me out. Hot in there and too dark even with the glow sticks and flashlights. No thank you!!! Looks like you guys had so much fun! Makes me feel so good to know that these activities can continue even when the kids are in their 20's!! Loved the blog!
This looks like so much fun! Daniel was very jealous! He was a pretty serious climber in highschool and college. He has climbed from time to time recently and I think you are right, it just comes back naturally. Thanks for the great pictures.
